We have regular flying days on at least two days a week, but during the summer the field is always available to members.

We participate in a number of BMFA special events along with our own competitions.

The Club has a wide range of members who are always pleased to help in both building models or setting up pre assembled ones. The elevation of our flying site provides an ideal location for powered gliders in addition to have a clear 360 degree airspace for take off and landing, regardless of wind direction.

In addition to the traditional materials used in building planes and gliders a number of the members have been building Foam Board models from readily available free plans. They provide amazing performance at a fraction of the cost and only require a hot glue gun and craft knife. An excellent way to both start or increase your fleet
